In this context we want to provide businesses with a platform to invent and develop future services. Thus, we supply businesses with access to knowledge and high level training while creating the services of the future in an interdisciplinary and cross-cultural environment. Results will be speed up of innovation design and lower investment costs for all parties.

Innovative knowledge

In the Service Science Factory top researchers, scholars and students from different academic disciplines and from different universities come together with R&D departments from different industries in a think-tank to create excellent innovative knowledge by collaboration. Additionally, The Service Science Academy trains future employees who are capable not only of their core discipline but also of various other disciplines and the ability to make links between them.

Contributors

Participation from diverse companies and institutions is crucial to this initiative. Preliminary contributions to this effort are made by business partners such as Infosys from Bangalore (India) Oce from Venlo (Netherlands) but also by the Central Bureau of Statistic from Heerlen (Netherlands) and by excellent universities such as Technion in Haifa (Israel) and the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane (Australia).
